Getting to this point wasn’t easy
I scoured the internet for health coaches that I could identify with, that would meet me where I was, and help me identify my roadblocks.
There was a LOT of conflicting information out there, which was discouraging. Some websites demonized certain foods and exercises, while other sites praised them, which was super confusing to me. It seemed like there was a lot of “black or white” information out there – things seemed to be in direct opposition, making it difficult to know what to believe.
I learned that we don’t have to choose one specific path or another – we can find balance with various strategies!
We don’t have to choose one path over the other; we can find what works for us, and what we will be consistent with. I learned that the “best” exercise is the one(s) that you enjoy and will be consistent with. And there is no “right” way to eat – we need to learn to listen to and trust our bodies again, and find a balance between nutritious and “fun” foods.
